BOROUGH OF SCHWENKSVILLE

MINUTES OF March 22, 2007

SPECIAL MEETING

Council Vice - President Donald A. Whitko called the Schwenksville Borough Council Special Meeting to order at 4:50pm.

Present were Donald A. Whitko, Ray Yeanish, Barbara Slater, Mayor Carroll Rosenberger, F. Thomas Snyder, Jr. Gail Phillips and Crystal Fisher: Esq.

Absent – H. Gilbert Williams

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: By the assembly.

Donald Whitko read the resignation of Joseph Giunta from auditor position.

RAY YEANISH MADE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THE RESIGNATION OF JOSEPH GIUNTA, SECONDED BY BARBARA SLATER. ALL WERE IN FAVOR AND THE MOTION CARRIED.

Joan Giunta was nominated by Ray Yeanish for position of auditor, seconded by Barbara Slater. All were in favor and the motion carried.

Mayor Carroll Rosenberger did the swearing in of Joseph Giunta as the new Schwenksville Borough Councilman.

New business: street sweeping ciders approximate $2,000.00.

Motioned by Ray Yeanish and seconded by Ray Yeanish not to exceed $2,000 for street sweeping. All were in favor and the motion carried.

A copy of a “Letter of Intent” to DCED for help with finances and audit.

Motioned by Barbara Slater and seconded by Ray Yeanish to send the letter of intent to DCED. All were in favor and the motion carried.
