ENGINEER’S REPORT – Ken Yerger-
Perkiomen Trail Gateway – The
bids were opened on November 13, 2007 and the bid tabulation prepared by
Borough staff. The qualifications and
references of the low bidder, Superior Lawn Service, Inc. are being researched.
Boyer Lane – the punch list
items have been completed and we are reviewing the project close-out invoicing
that was recently received.

MAINTENANCE CODE 2006, AND ESTABLISHING THE MINIMUM REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE
CONDITIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL PROPERTY, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES TO INSURE
THAT STRUCTURES ARE SAFE, SANITARY AND FIT FOR OCCUPATION AND USE; AND FOR THE
CONDEMNATION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES UNFIT FOR HUMAN OCCUPANCY AND USE AND

Bob Brant has donated to the
Borough 3 paintings by artist Sidney Quinn in honor of the people I have worked
with and for those whom I will be working with, Also a thank you to Gib
Williams, Donald Whitko and Barbara Slater for their years of service on
Council.
Gib thanked Bob for the
paintings.
POLICE REPORT: Chief Timothy Hoppes
State
Police Calls for November 2007 – 15
Schwenksville Police calls for November 2007 –30
Chief Hoppes extended a thank
you to his Emergency Management Staff for meeting all the requirements in the recent Biennial Graded
Exercise for the Limerick Generating Station.
Wendy Rowley from 4th
St. asked Chief Hoppes about the speed timing device to put on Perkiomen
Ave. Chief Hoppes said he was still
working out the details. Wendy also
thanked Chief Hoppes for being up at the crosswalk during the school dismissal
times.

FIRE COMPANY REPORT: Jim Keyser–November report – 8 calls 56 men in
service 3:59 minutes in service.
The Fire Company has received
a Federal Grant for $79,000.00 for all new turnout gear washer and dryer, also
a Grant from Fireman’s Fund Insurance for $20,800 for new equipment for our new
truck. Grant presentation will be
December 20th at 5pm at our station.

AMBULANCE REPORT – October – Schwenksville
Borough 20 calls, Colonnade of Schwenksville 12 calls. November – Schwenksville Borough 26 calls,
Colonnade of Schwenksville 15 calls.
We will be participating in
the Montgomery County Pilot program to launch the MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) in
all ambulances countywide.
BOROUGH MANAGER REPORT – Bob Umstead
Meeting Schedule.
Need to approve the meeting
schedule for 2008 and advertise it as such.
I have prepared a listing of proposed meeting dates, keeping the same
agenda with the Planning Commission as the 1st Thursday of the month
and Borough council the 2nd Thursday of the month.

TO HAVE BOB UMSTEAD ADVERTISE THE MEETING SCHEDULE AS SUCH AND THE FIRST
MEETING WILL BE JANUARY 7TH REORGANIZATION AS PER THE BOROUGH CODE
AND COUNCIL MAY CONDUCT OTHER BUSINESS AS MAY COME BEFORE IT. ALL WERE IN

Trash Contract –
The Borough has received a
request from Spring Mount Summit Condominiums (Assoc) to be exempted from the
Borough trash contract for the period beginning Jan. 1, 2008.
Motioned by Joe Giunta and
seconded by Ray Yeanish. that the Borough award a contract for a period of
three years beginning January 1, 2008 to Ches-Mont Disposal for collection of
trash and recyclables for single family and townhouse units; commercial,
industrial and institutional units; bulk item and white good pick up; Freon
containing items and extra toters as submitted on their bid dated Oct. 30, 2007
in compliance with all the terms and conditions of the specification prepared
by the Borough. All were in favor. Motion carried
Motioned by Ray Yeanish and seconded
by Donald Whitko that Solicitor Brant be authorized to amend the Trash
Ordinance to permit homeowner and/or condominium associations with greater than
15 units be permitted to be exempt from the requirement of participating in the
Borough’s collection contract. All were in favor. Motion carried.
Park Place Association did
not meet the financial requirements so they will stay with the Borough
contract.

POLICE TASK FORCE: Joe Giunta - Meeting Monday December 17, 2007 @
6:30pm
MAYOR’S REPORT: Carroll Rosenberger – will be at the January 7, 2008 reorganization
meeting.
OLD BUSINESS:
Joe Giunta read an email from Kim Bartells, Transaction
Coordinator
TC Business Management, LLC about not having
phone calls returned from the tax collector.
Joe wants to know if there is a problem with
Tracy. Gib asked Ray if phone and fax
are in working order.
Ray says all are in working order. Rudy Micsko received a delinquent tax notice
and called Tracy and left a message.
Ray suggests that you call after 6:00pm. Ray stated that Berkheimer has
sent these notices out.
NEW BUSINESS: Donald Whitko wanted to nominate Joe O’Neil
for another term for the authority Board.
This will be tabled until the January 7, 2008 at the Reorganization
meeting.
Gib Williams reported on the
meeting that he was at for the Watershed, the Scioto Creek Watershed which is a
new process that the Delaware River Commission is backing. Gib would like the new Council to take a
look at the document.

AUDIENCE: Rudy Micsko asked about the 10 folders that
Anne from Clean Water Action was to drop off at Borough Hall. Anne will be emailed asking about the
folders.
Jim Keyser asked what the
time would be for the trash haulers to begin pick ups on Tuesday mornings. Bob replied the contract states 5:00am.
