7:36 pm, called the Schwenksville Borough Council Meeting of May 12, 2005 to
order.

ENGINEER’S
REPORT: Ken Yerger –
Boyer Alley Drainage
Issues – At the request of the Borough Manager, we assisted in a drainage issue
on Boyer alley.
Trailhead Grant – We
have prepared the requested cost estimate for the Trail grant and are in the
early stages of design of the project.
Landscape Ordinance
– We are reviewing the draft Landscape Ordinance and will have comments for the
next Planning Commission meeting.

following the meeting- Real Estate Issue.
Clossin
subdivision – Telvil:
Borough sent a
letter to Telvil asking for a status report as to what is taking place; a
response was received today about the final punch list. Attorneys indicating that they would be
willing to take care of the items noted on the list. However they do want the
Borough to take over the road accept dedication of the road and to release any
other security that we are still holding.
When the houses were constructed, there was a swale that was constructed
along the properties and the swale is no longer present.
Contractor fixed the
drainage pipe that was broken in Wendi Rowley’s backyard.
4th st.
open problems – drain has to be fixed at the bottom, swale, sidewalks, curbing
and sealing of the road.
Mr. Fariclough has
an issue with the swale. Mike Hill has standing water in his yard after it
rains.
Borough looking at this year for settling problems on 4th st. construction.
Regional
Comprehensive Plan:
A public hearing
will be held on May 26, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. to consider adoption of the Central
Perkiomen Valley Regional Comprehensive Plan and the Intergovernmental
Cooperative Implementation Agreement for Regional Planning. The Agreement will be adopted by Ordinance
and the Regional Comprehensive Plan will be adopted by Resolution of Council.

Kathy Ember – Montgomery County Planning Commission:
Open Space Program
Plan gives the Borough an opportunity to apply for $612,139.00 in Grant money.
Plan will have to be
taken to the Planning Commission and then passed on to the Council for approval. Special meeting will be held on May 26, 2005
to approve the
Open Space Plan.
Earl Stahl 381 Cherry St. asked why a streetlight was put
up at Boyer & 3rd St.
It was explained by Tom Snyder
that the light was left over from the school and that the street is now ordained.
