Music in the Meadow Summer Concert Series
Planning for the 2014 Summer Concert series is in high gear. Please keep the following dates set aside for concerts. We’ll post the name of the bands and a description of their style of music as they become available. 2014 Summer Concerts
June 18th – “Mr. Fuzzy and the Barbarian” 6:30 PM -8:30 PM

July 16th- “Raven Hill” -6:30 PM – 8:30 PM This band describes their music as from the heart, traditional Blue Grass music featuring banjo and mandolin.
July 30th – “Rock and Roll After School” -6:30 PM -8:30 PM – This school based in Collegeville is an innovative music school where kids ages 7-18 can learn to play guitar, bass, piano, drums, and vocals. Unlike traditional music schools or in home lessons, this school is a place where kids interact as they explore their musical pursuits and where they learn to write and play their own music. A great evening out to hear the talents of these local kids.August 20th – “Dog Bite Money”
August 20th – Dog Bite Money – 6 PM- 8PM Confirmed for a return performance is Schwenksville’s own DOG BITE MONEY on August 20, 2014. 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Dog Bite Money is always a local favorite and has quite a large following in the Schwenksville area. Their reputation as a crown pleasing band stretches well beyond the local area. Dog Bite Money is a classic rock cover band with a song list that goes from Aerosmith to ZZ Top, and everything in between. 2009 was the 10 year anniversary of DOG BITE MONEY. This was also the year DOG BITE MONEY was named WMGK102.9fm “Band of the Year”. They finished that year playing to a crowd of over 50,000 fans in New Jersey with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. All concerts are held at Meadow Park. No alcoholic beverages are permitted. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
